These days, my hangovers are getting worse. The hideous dry mouth, the headache, the utter pain and neediness that comes over me – it’s all way more intense than it EVER was when I was at University.
During the last few hangovers, I have taken to doing a few things differently and I can honestly say that some have been successes. Let me share them with you…
- Drink loads of orange juice – gulp it down, get a big glass and keep going. The vitamin C surge will make you feel a lot better, trust me
- Get out, go for a walk – get some fresh air, the sooner the better! It’s the last thing on your mind, but it does good things for your mind. Maybe it’s the distraction that works… anyway, it’s worth a try
- Eat meat – whatever type you want, a bacon sarnie or a cold ham, get it down yer and reap the rewards of feeling top notch within the hour
- COFFEE – this is always the way forward, try and iced coffee if it’s a hot summer’s day
